Why Stay?
The infinity pool at Myconian Deos doesn't just overlook Mykonos town – it commands a 180-degree sweep that takes in the harbour, the famous windmills, and the Aegean stretching toward Delos. At sunset, guests tend to go quiet. It's that kind of view.
Named for the ancient Greek word meaning awe, Deos occupies elevated ground above Chora, close enough for the evening walk down (fifteen minutes through residential streets), far enough to escape the port town's famously unrelenting pace. The architecture works with Cycladic tradition rather than against it: white-rendered volumes, natural stone, indigenous planting that somehow thrives despite the wind.
Inside, the approach favours texture over ornamentation. Custom joinery in pale timber, limestone basins, private terraces with pools that blur into the seascape. The larger suites – the Alpha residences – stretch to 120 square metres with their own substantial outdoor space.
Epico Restaurant centres on a farm-to-fork philosophy under a Relais & Châteaux-trained chef who runs a weekly eight-course tasting at the chef's table. The Sana Spa offers treatments using botanicals harvested locally, whilst yoga sessions can be arranged on Rhenia's empty beaches, reached by private boat.
