We had a wonderful trip in Iceland – yes, we saw the Northern Lights and so much more! The itinerary worked very well for us and had enough flexibility to suit the whole family.

The Konsulat Hotel in Reykjavik is very well located and comfortable as a base to explore the city. Our guide, Kolbeinn, was very knowledgeable and managed our tours and activities brilliantly – we would definitely recommend him.

The Blue Lagoon was a wonderful experience for all of us and a real highlight, together with seeing the Northern Lights and the Mid-Atlantic Ridge at Thingvellir. We were all fascinated by the geothermal pools, Geysir and the waterfalls – so much natural energy and heat contrasting with the sub-zero air temperatures, glaciers and snow on the ground.

We also tried ATV buggies for the first time and all thoroughly enjoyed it. Staying at the Landhotel gave us the perfect base for Northern Lights viewing – and having two nights meant we had every opportunity to see them.

Thanks to Nicky for putting together such a well-planned itinerary – we’re already looking forward to our next trip!

We had a lovely time in Madeira. The hotel was wonderful with a really good feel about it and friendly staff, and our room was perfect for our needs.

We tried all three restaurants and thought each was excellent. We did the garden tour and an in-house Madeira tasting, both well done and really informative. The guest services team also arranged a car to take us to see more of the island, including a walk to the highest point.

Afternoon tea was fantastic – a real experience – and we also managed to squeeze in the cable car and the toboggan ride! We really feel like we did a lot.

Thanks again to Nicky for all her help with the booking and concierge services – as always, everything was seamless.

A huge thank you to Jo for recommending and taking care of all the arrangements for the Six Senses Kanuhura – honestly, she completely nailed it.

The place is absolutely perfect and we really loved it. Jo somehow managed to get a real sense of us, and it was the most incredible holiday – it felt like a completely different experience, not like any beach holiday we’ve ever had.

The quiet luxury of Six Senses was totally on the money. We did pretty much everything – turtles, sharks, reef snorkelling, sunset dolphins on a private boat, spa treatments and the gym. The place is magic.

We’re already missing it and aiming to go back. Thank you for the insight and the perfect recommendation – we’re telling everyone

The hotel was great. Just what we needed and perfect location. We enjoyed the terrace bar and restaurant – amazing views and good service and food. The staff in the hotel generally were very attentive

We loved Park Guell but would definitely recommend a guide rather than the audio tour which wasn’t the easiest thing to follow and was a bit soulless

Our favourite thing, without a doubt, was CHT. That restaurant was mind blowing! It really is an experience from the second you arrive. And the food was spectacular. Can’t recommend it highly enough

Thanks again and we will be in touch soon. The children are hoping for a trip to the Caribbean next summer and I think we’d like to get on and get it booked in good time

It was so brilliant. Thanks for everything. It all went super smoothly. My only very minor comment would be that the return flight was a bit late (11pm) – got delayed to 12:30am so we’re all wandering around like zombies today. But on the plus side, we had an extra day at the beach. 

Sani is totally wonderful. Also, all the pickups were perfect. And I love the Eden wallet.

Thank you for arranging our wonderful Paris stay! Hotel Luxembourg was a discreet gem in perfect St Germain location. Room overlooking St Sulpice was fabulous with excellent connecting layout.

For Eurostar, Premier was essential but suggest earlier pickup next time—French border control was challenging with under-18s.

We have all had a fantastic time. Verona was great, kids had a great time shopping and eating ice cream, tickets to Opera were so good, third row back right in the middle view was fabulous!

Como was equally fantastic and we all agreed it was one of the nicest hotels we’ve stayed in, it was right up my Mum and Dad’s street.

We had a fabulous time. Thanks so much for all your help. The travel plans and hotel were great. Weather was perfect, it’s a great time of year to go. 

We had some lovely meals out. Things I would recommend are El Olivo Mio (old town), El Chiringuito beach bar, las Dalias hippy market (turns into a chilled dance vibe late afternoon on a Sunday – not sure about other days), Fish Shack (short walk from Nobu and authentic Spanish fish restaurant).

Wow what an amazing trip.  What an amazing country. The people were so friendly, the history so complex and interesting, the food !! ( we’ve both put on a few pounds!!) The tour guides we had in the different cities were excellent.  They gave us an insight and information that we just wouldn’t have got if we’d been on our own. The hotels were all amazing but the 4 Seasons we were speechless at!! utter paradise !! The only negative was we wish we’d been able to go for more than 2 weeks.

Thanks for arranging the meet and greet service at Antigua airport – absolutely essential as we’d have been lost without her.

Anguilla Air was fine but ground staff at Antigua were dreadful. Miraculously departed on time and I enjoyed sitting up front with the pilot!

Hadn’t realised how flat Anguilla is compared to neighbouring St Maarten. Getting our hire car today to explore.

Thank you to Jo Gallimore for organising our fantastic family holiday to Atlantis Bahamas for my wife’s birthday. Jo handled our many questions patiently and arranged special surprises like champagne and cake.

Atlantis is spectacular with impressive architecture, numerous pools, thrilling waterslides (especially the rapids), beautiful beaches, and amazing aquariums filled with marine life. Swimming with dolphins was unforgettable.

The marina restaurants offered excellent food with stunning yacht views, though prices were high.

Our recently refurbished Royal room was centrally located and comfortable. Pre-Easter timing meant fewer crowds.

Highly recommended for families.

Just a short note to say that Tobias and I had a wonderful, wonderful time in Jamaica!  We really loved the place, the hotel, the people, the weather, the beaches, the treks through the old plantations, etc etc.  We enjoyed it a lot and everything went perfectly.

We even flew back to London with Sir Richard Branson on the plane on Monday evening!

We had a wonderful Maldives holiday that exceeded all expectations. Spending a week with our grown-up family was incredibly special. The beach villas offered stunning morning views – definitely the right choice over sea villas. Anniversary and birthday bed displays were touching. Restaurant cuisine and staff were exceptional. Only improvement: uncomfortable snorkel masks were difficult to make watertight. When can we return to paradise? Thanks Tara – we’ll be in touch for our next adventure!

Thank you for checking in – we loved Son Bonyola! Service was excellent but friendly (not stuffy and formal).  And property was absolutely gorgeous…that pool!!  One minor issue was that the vehicle that collected us from the airport wasn’t suitable for the two bike boxes but we gave this feedback to the hotel and it was resolved for our return journey.

Looking forward to planning another holiday with you soon!

It was absolutely fabulous, we had a brilliant time! Going for the premium all-inclusive was definitely worth every penny. The 9 nights were spot on – just perfect really, and I didn’t get bored at all (which I’d been a bit worried about). I reckon if we’d done 14 nights there might have been a bit of sameness creeping in.

We were chuffed to bits with the upgrade to a Lagoon Villa with pool – we’d definitely want that again if we go back. The west-facing position was excellent for watching the sunset too.

Staff were great, looked after us properly from the moment we landed right through to check-in on the way back.

Thanks for sorting it all out. Would absolutely recommend!

Had a lovely stay at this charming family-run hotel. The service was absolutely top-notch and the food was brilliant. Perfect for a peaceful getaway, though the beach is more of a natural bay rather than your classic Caribbean postcard scene. Bit of a mature crowd in February, and the occasional plane overhead. Smoking spots are rather limited too. Thoroughly relaxing if you’re after a quiet break rather than somewhere lively.

We had a wonderful 15 days at Abama. We were much in need of a relaxing late March holiday in the sunshine. We preferred to avoid a trans Atlantic flight and a significant time change. Our luxury garden suite in the Retreat, with an adjoining linked room for our son, was exactly what we required. With just a few steps down from our suite to the adults only large, peaceful and very attractive swimming pool we could not have been better situated.There are numerous restaurants in the hotel which, we thought, catered for all tastes. We were very content to dine in the hotel every evening and we found the food to be of a consistent and high standard. Special mention should certainly be made of the staff at the hotel whom, without exception, we found to be charming, most responsive and keen to please in every way. We owe them a very special thank you.

Last, but by no means least, we should mention our friend Victoria Purves at Eden Travel. We are not young and for various reasons our booking arrangements were a little complex. Victoria was most patient when unexpected issues arose and went way beyond what we could reasonably have expected so as to ensure that everything was thought about in advance. We were thus able to travel trouble and worry free confident that every detail had been thought about leaving us free to relax and enjoy our much needed holiday. Thank you so very much, Victoria. ‘

Private Clients – Tenerife – March 25

Eden arranged our perfect trip. The hotel was excellent with caring staff. Virgin’s Heathrow lounge and in-flight food were superb, though beds were uncomfortable compared to BA. Cape Town airport lounge food was disappointing. However, Eden’s service was absolutely first-class throughout. Would definitely recommend and book again!

Mr Roberts – South Africa – March 25

Just returned from an incredible Australian adventure arranged by Nicky at Eden. Our three-week itinerary included the rainforest at Silky Oaks with Great Barrier Reef diving, mystical Uluru at Longitude 131, Melbourne for the F1 Grand Prix, and Sydney’s Park Hyatt overlooking iconic landmarks. When an unexpected cyclone disrupted plans, Nicky proactively rebooked our accommodations. Later, when Heathrow closed during our return journey, she worked after hours to arrange new flights and transfers. This exceptional service during both planned highlights and unexpected challenges demonstrates why we’ve remained loyal Eden clients for over ten years.

Firstly we had a fantastic time in Rome. The driver from Rolzo was superb. The Hassler couldn’t have done more for us and we really enjoyed the hotel very much. Can’t believe how much we packed in— exhausting but worth it. Our dinner at Da Pietro was great too.

Our third Maldives trip gave us exactly the rest we needed. Travel was smooth from Heathrow to the friendly resort welcome. Each day followed a perfect rhythm – peaceful breakfasts, beach walks, spotting turtles, and enjoying the ocean views from our private deck before waterfront dinners. Our spacious villa with its own pool was wonderful, and the attentive staff took care of everything without fuss.

We had a wonderful time in Sri Lanka! Our driver Ananda was exceptional, and all accommodation was excellent, especially W15 Hanthana – the best place we’ve ever stayed! Only Hill Rise Villa felt dated. Fort Bazaar and The Longhouse were both superb. The country is beautiful, people welcoming, and everything worked perfectly. Thank you for your expertise in creating such a stress-free holiday.

Back home after spending a fabulous time in Baros.

We both had a great time, the weather was really good, apart from a couple of evenings of very heavy thunderstorms, the villa was lovely, along with the food and service and as always the staff couldn’t do enough for you.  Domi Astuti, Guest Experience Manager, organised a visit to their nearby sister island Huvafen Fushi, where we were met with a glass of champagne, they gave us a tour and we had a nice meal in their Japanese restaurant.  They couldn’t have been more accommodating.

Our Maldives adventure was truly magical! At Patina, we adored watching dolphins from our villa and savoured exceptional cuisine at every restaurant – Koen’s chef’s table was unforgettable! Fubu, our essentialist, pampered us with thoughtful nightly surprises. The only downside was battling persistent insect bites despite using repellent. Moving to Jumeirah felt like coming home, with Bond our butler anticipating our every need and Ibbe creating the most romantic anniversary dinner imaginable. Both resorts were paradise, though in different ways – Patina buzzes with energy whilst Jumeirah offers serene tranquility alongside fascinating marine life.

The food and wine was lovely at both of course and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. Seeing the gorillas in particular was a once in a lifetime experience which we both loved.

Thank you for organising our wonderful holiday. The highlights were Virgin Atlantic’s excellent service, efficient transfers including the unexpected Range Rover, and Mary’s brilliant assistance. Mary truly stood out – she was professional, reassuring, and made us feel completely at ease during transfers both ways. Bequia Beach Hotel impressed us with exceptional service, delicious food at both restaurants, and friendly staff under Katie’s management. Room 109 was perfect with its lovely upper-level position. The few drawbacks were the somewhat dated Hilton Resort, minor confusion over departure taxes, and the rather expensive drinks at Bequia. Overall, everything worked brilliantly and we would thoroughly recommend this magical “Friendship in Friendship Bay” experience.

The resort was amazing – huge rooms, incredible service, perfect beach, excellent guided activities and wonderful facilities.

Only minor drawbacks were the limited restaurant options (just three, with two being Malay and Indian which are quite specific), and some hiccups with reservations – we met another family who had similar booking issues to us.

Would definitely go back though! You were amazing as always. We had a beautiful time.

The quality of absolutely everything in this resort is outstanding – and the friendliness and efficiency of the staff top class. The location is also spectacular and it feels like you have the islands to yourself so much of the time.

This was our fourth trip to Barbados as a couple, and while the previous three were incredible, this one surpassed them all. The Coral Reef Club on the West Coast has become our sanctuary – we’ve cherished the same Mahogany suite each visit. The hotel exudes understated sophistication and elegance, with exceptional service. October is perfect, catching the island before the winter rush. Highlights included the breathtaking Animal Flower Cave, Hunte’s Gardens, and our private sunset catamaran cruise – pure magic. Dining ranges from the sophisticated Cliff to the authentic charm of The Sea Cat, with endless culinary discoveries along the coast.

The Sala Chaweng Beach was the perfect hotel for us on Koh Samui – we could cheerfully have stayed longer. Chiva Som was terrific and this year I could really make the most of everything on offer there. All the flights and transfers worked really well so we were very relaxed travellers. And very very many thanks for the beautiful floral arrangement that arrived safely this morning. It was so kind of you and very much appreciated. I love flowers and they have very much cheered up a cold grey damp day here today.

The holiday could not have been more special – it was without doubt our favourite vacation to date.The flights worked perfectly, travelling Club Class made the journey there and back a much more enjoyable experience. All 3 hotels we stayed in were special, each a different style, all I would highly recommend and gladly re-visit. From white water rafting on the Deschutes River in Portland, Whale Watching at Monterey, Universal Studios, an LA Dodgers game and Disney we were ready to flop when we got to the Montage, and wow what a place to unwind before heading home.

We have  just returned from Mazzeria Torre  Maizza, where we spent 5 days with my family and grandchildren. Thou the hotel isn’t specifically set up for children , we found everyone very welcoming and accommodating, they do have high chairs available, travel cots etc, and even provided little robes for the children and slippers together with bath products. The accommodation was beautiful, and the hotel grounds immaculate. The staff really are excellent, happy to help with anything. As always the booking with Eden was super smooth.

We had a love timed the weather was great so all good. The Il Bottaccio Hotel was very nice only 8 rooms and excellent food. The staff were brilliant and helped us organise our day trip to Cinque Terre which was fantastic. The Grand Hotel Principe was excellent. A fantastic roof top pool and bar/restaurant. It was about 6 miles from Forte Di Marmi so a taxi ride (expensive) but well worth visiting. I have never seen so many beach clubs in one area ! Must have been well over 300!
