    HIGHLIGHTS

Santiago. With the Andes as its backdrop, multi-faceted Santiago doesn’t fail to delight visitors, and like Buenos Aires there are some great neighbourhoods to explore. Head to the city's most stylish district, Barrio Italia – a hipster haven for design-lovers and antique hunters alike. Take a stroll through its labyrinthine, crayola-coloured streets and uncover a cornucopia of cool independent boutiques, captivating courtyard cafés and epicurean delights.

The unique rock formations and dunes of Moon Valley, the shifting hues of Mars Valley and the Salt Mountains are must-see attractions when visiting the Atacama Desert.

Lake District. In Puerto Octay, you can relish tranquil strolls by Llanquihue Lake, surrounded by verdant flora, engage in watersports, and delve into the intriguing history of this Chilean region by visiting the El Colono de Octay Museum. Moreover, if you find yourself hungry after these activities, be sure to sample the scrumptious cuisine that blends German and Chilean culinary traditions!

Awasi Patagonia. The exclusive retreat offers just 14 standalone villas, each boasting a direct view of Torres del Paine. Every villa comes with a private guide and a 4WD vehicle, ensuring a personalised and unique experience for every guest, far from the one-size-fits-all approach.

    Santiago

In the last decade, Santiago has evolved beyond a mere layover spot into a vibrant destination in its own right. To fully experience this dynamic and cosmopolitan capital, consider embarking on a half- or full-day tour with a knowledgeable guide who will help you discover unique art galleries, fashionable designer stores and traditional handicraft markets, as well as a wide array of restaurants, bars, cafés and the energetic Latino nightlife in the trendy Bellavista neighbourhood.

    Lake District

Named for its deep blue glacial lakes and speckled with snow-capped volcanoes, lush forests and tranquil lakeside villages, the Chilean Lake District is stunningly beautiful, making it ideal for outdoor enthusiasts and sports lovers. Puerto Varas, the region's most popular tourist town, acts as a hub for numerous activities, including horseback riding and rock climbing in Cochamó Valley, exploring lakes Llanquihue, Puyehue and Todos los Santos, and trekking across the various majestic national parks.

    Patagonia

If the vastness of nature hasn't already made you feel utterly insignificant during your Chilean travels, then brace yourself for Torres del Paine, with its turquoise lakes, glaciers and soaring granite peaks. The stunning vistas and exceptional opportunities for wildlife observation are profoundly humbling. The optimal way to experience it all is on a trekking expedition, sailing on Lake Grey to view the namesake glacier, or taking a kayak journey amidst the massive blue and white icebergs. Be on the lookout for foxes, huemul or Andean deer and guanacos and, with some patience, you may even spot the elusive puma.
