Some of the rooms did feel slightly dated, but there are plans for modernisation over the coming months. The resort’s multi-level layout and small network of funiculars to get to the beach could raise potential challenges for families with younger children and those with mobility issues, but guests can request a buggy from reception to make the levels a little easier to negotiate.
It’s also worth noting that some options, like the Deluxe Room with pool, may lack direct sunlight on its terrace; pool heating comes at an additional cost; and families with small children are advised to book a suite that comes with a pool fence for added peace of mind.
However, careful planning with your Travel Director at the time of booking means any concerns you may have will easily be put to rest before you leave home.
Younger guests are well taken care of at the UK-run crèche and Kids’ Club, while the fully equipped games room gives teens their own high-octane hideaway. The sublime KĒPOS by Goco Spa boasts two indoor pools, including one for hydrotherapy; and there’s an endless supply of top-class sporting activities too, from biking, hiking and tennis to paddle-boarding, canoeing and scuba-diving at the watersports centre.
