Why Stay?
Round Hill has long been the haunt of the (very) famous, so there's a real sense of history and style that permeates throughout this resort like few others.
Starry-eyed stays have included JFK and Jackie O's honeymoon, Cole Porter who was spotted singing in the bar, and Rodgers and Hammerstein who wrote The Sound of Music here. What these and today’s guests have in common is a love of the understated, tasteful luxury; the calm, laid-back ambience; sublime seclusion; and legendary, low-key service.
We particularly like the hillside villas, but there’s also 36 handsome, Ralph Lauren-designed plantation-style rooms and suites in the Pineapple House, and 74 suites in 27 villas (also bookable as standalone two- to six-bedroom villas, 21 with private pools). Lazy days on the small-yet-private beach transform into twilight cocktails in the old school cocktail bar and culminate with simple, locally sourced seafood, or ‘Lean Clean Caribbean Cuisine’. The already expansive spa experience has recently been elevated and, alongside a world-class tennis programme, four pickleball courts are also now part of the on-site activities in addition to an impressive line-up of in-house experts visiting throughout the year, from world-renowned Pilates practitioners to top-ranking tennis pros.
