Reminiscent of a bygone era, Sabora Tented Camp dishes up lavish doses of romance, exploration and intrigue.

There’s a definite 1920’s feel to this camp, with its antique mahogany travel chests, Persian rugs and silk curtains. Everything is top-notch (even the spotting scope is Swarovski!), with modern touches such as air-con, satellite TV and Wi-Fi. But there’s a real feeling of fun here, too: as well as the obvious game drives, activities can include archery, stargazing safaris, mountain biking and more (anyone for bush tennis?). It’s lavish and romantic, in a very Agatha Christie way – you can just imagine Poirot staying here.
