    Kwandwe Game Reserve

    GRAHAMSTOWN, GARDEN ROUTE, SOUTH AFRICA

    Why Stay?

Kwandwe stands as a testament to the success of conservation through regeneration. Formerly agricultural land, this reserve boasts a wealth of biodiversity and is situated in the Eastern Cape, a unique convergence point for seven of South Africa's eight biomes.

Its varied and rolling terrain provides sanctuary to numerous endangered species, such as the black and white rhinoceros and the cheetah. The Great Fish River winds its way through the reserve for 30 kilometres and, nestled along this path, is the Great Fish River Lodge. To the west, you'll discover Ecca Lodge, and strategically situated are the exclusive villas: Fort House, Melton Manor, and Uplands. Kwandwe is celebrated for its exceptional guiding, subtle opulence, and the myriad of animals and wildlife inhabiting the reserve. It provides a variety of safari activities and lodging choices to fulfil any African dream.
