    Think of it as one giant adventure playground, with incredible interactive museums like Science World British Columbia in False Creek and FlyOver Canada; cool activities (the North Shore’s Capilano Suspension Bridge and Rainforest Explorer Programme, Granville Island’s Kids’ Market and waterpark, whale-watching expeditions); fun festivals; and amazing Stanley Park, home to beaches, a waterpark, a pitch-and-putt course, miniature train, horse-drawn carriage tours, and the First Nations’ Klahowya Village.

    There’s all kinds of ways to get around too: catamarans, SkyTrains, the Aquabus, float-planes, old-fashioned trolley tours, biking or strolling… so whichever you choose, it’s guaranteed to be a fun-filled adventure.

    Vancouver to Whistler

    No ordinary drive, your journey to Whistler takes you on the Sea-to-Sky Highway, one of North America’s most
    intensely scenic routes. With the Pacific on one side and the mountains on the other, keep your camera handy; and
    avoid those ‘are we there yet’ moments by stopping at some of the family friendly attractions en-route (like Britannia Mine, Sea-to-Sky Gondola, or Brandywine Falls, just south of Whistler).

    Whistler to Sonora Island

    Journey Time: 3 hours, 15 minutes

    After driving back into Vancouver, head for Horseshoe Bay for your two-hour ferry crossing over the Salish Sea to
    Nanaimo, followed by a 90-minute drive to Campbell River where you’ll drop off your car and hop onto Sonora Resort’s water taxi.

    Sonora to Victoria

    Journey Time: 4 hours, 15 minutes

    The scenic oceanside route between Campbell River and Victoria, Highway 19A, boasts miles of picturesque coastline,
    charming towns, and outdoor adventure. Once in Victoria, check in to the Fairmont Empress, try their famous high tea, then take a quick drive over to Butchart Gardens, some of the most famous and beautiful botanical gardens in the world, open until 10pm in summer.
