DAY 1 Outbound international flight to Buenos Aires.

Stay: Palacio Duhau – Park Hyatt Buenos Aires (3 nights)
DAYS 2-3 Buenos Aires

So many people associate BA with the tango, the finest steak and great wine – and it’s not hard to see why: you can watch – or learn – the country’s signature dance in the salons of the city; Parrillas (steakhouses) sit on almost every corner; and the nightlife is almost never-ending.

But Argentina’s capital – with its French buildings, Italian food, and Spanish nightlife – also tells a different story: one of a city that has one foot in Latin America and the other in Europe, so the experiences here really give you a taste of the cosmopolitan spirit of the city (from the colourful Caminito, Recoleta, Boca Stadium, Mataderos Market, Botanic Garden, Zoo, and Japanese Garden to Holy Land, the world’s first religious theme park).
DAY 4 Buenos Aires to Iguazu Falls
Journey Time: A 6 hour flight to Cataratas Airport & 20 minutes by car

Stay: Belmond Hotel das Cataratas (2 nights)
DAY 5 Iguazu Falls

Originating from the Iguazu River, and located on the border of Brazil (in the state of Paraná) and Argentina, The Iguazu Falls are a magnificent spectacle of 275 individual drops that have awed anyone who’s laid eyes on them over the centuries, from locals to tourists. And where better to stay than at Belmond das Cataratas, with the greatest location, direct views of the falls and access to the park even when it’s closed to the general public.
DAY 6 Iguazu Falls to Mendoza
Journey Time: A 4 hour, 25 minute flight (via Salta) & 45 minutes by car

Stay: Entre Cielos (3 nights)
DAYS 7-8 Mendoza

At the foot of the majestic Andes, famous for its leafy streets, atmospheric squares, diverse café culture and Malbec wines, Mendoza is one of the prettiest (and neatest) cities in Argentina. Staying 20 minutes outside of the city, tucked away in the heart of Lujan de Cuyo (the birthplace of the Malbec grape), the unique, boutique Entre Cielos is where you’ll call home for the next three nights, exploring everything from the region’s world class wineries and dining experiences, to active adventure in the mountains and beyond – as well as all the world-class shopping, nightlife and culture of Mendoza itself.
DAY 9 Mendoza to Buenos Aires
Flight Time: 1 hour, 40 minutes

Stay: Legado Mítico (2 nights)
DAY 10 Buenos Aires

Staying in the cosmopolitan area of Palermo (a part of BA that’s split into a number of districts) you’ll probably spend most of your time in bohemian Palermo Viejo (now known as Palermo Soho). Its picturesque stone-paved streets are lined with the widest selection of restaurants, cafés, bars and shops, and filled with an avant-garde, eclectic spirit – the perfect place to spend your last nights in Argentina.
DAY 11 Depart Buenos Aires on your international flight back to London Heathrow.
PRICES 10 nights from £4,560 per person
