DAY 1 Outbound international flight to Santiago.

​DAY 2 Santiago

Over the past 10 years, Santiago has become more than just a place to stop-over on your way to another destination. So to make the most of your stay in this dynamic, cosmopolitan capital, we’d suggest taking a half- or full-day tour with one of our experienced guides, who’ll help you discover original art galleries, designer shops and handicraft markets, a great selection of restaurants, bars and cafés and the lively Latino nightlife in hip Bellavista.
​DAY 3 Buenos Aires to Atacama Desert
Journey Time: A 2 hour, 10 minute flight & 1 hour, 30 minutes by car

Stay: Awasi Atacama (4 nights)
​DAYS 4-6 Atacama Desert

San Pedro is the gateway to the Atacama Desert, where you’ll spend four nights at Awasi Atacama – the only lodge in the area that offers private guides who will allow you to explore everything you want to see, and all at you own pace, from geyers, beautiful valleys and canyons plus a host of wildlife from flamingos to wild foxes.
​DAY 7 ​Atacama Desert to Chiloé (Chilean Lake District)
Journey Time: A 2-hour, 40 minute flight (via Santiago) & 3 hours, 20 minutes by car

Today is a full-day of travel from Atacama to the Chilean Lake District via Santiago. After landing in Puerto Montt, your journey continues by car into the Chilean Lake District, which you’ll find reminiscent of Switzerland, its Alpine spirit and awe-inspiring scenery. It’s also home to the Mapuche tribe, whose cultural heritage today remains as strong today as it was when defending their land against the Spanish conquistadors.

Stay: Tierra Chiloé Hotel & Spa (3 nights)
​DAYS 8-9 Chiloé

Chiloé is a lush, culturally rich archipelago that enchants visitors with its hospitality, spiritual culture, traditional houses built on stilts (palafito), steaming fish stews cooked in the ground, ethnic and folkloric traditions, unique mythology of witchcraft and ghost ships, and the fabled figure of the Thrauco. Perfect for those looking to get off-the-beaten-track.
DAY 10 Chiloé to Torres del Paine National Park
Journey Time: 3 hours, 20 minutes by car to Puerto Montt, a 2 hour, 10 minute flight & 5 hours by car

Leaving late afternoon, the journey to Awasi Patagonia a very long journey, but it’s one that’s well worth it in the end. And once you get to Awasi, you can enjoy a programme completely designed with you in mind, all taken care of by Awasi’s own private guides.

Stay: Awasi Patagonia (3 nights)
​DAYS 11-12 Torres del Paine National Park

Be prepared to have your senses blown away by the feeling of remoteness and the sheer natural beauty of Torres del Paine National Park.
DAY 13 Depart Punta Arenas on your return flight back to London Heathrow via Santiago.
