As huge fans of California and even
bigger fans of wine, we couldn’t be happier to raise a glass to Santa Barbara’s
latest wine tasting mecca, the Wine Collection of El Paseo.
Located in the historic El Paseo centre
in Downtown Santa Barbara and at the very heart of the fine dining and high-end
shopping found on State Street, these six ultra-premium wine tasting rooms are
the perfect pairing for an afternoon (or two!) of wining, dining and shopping.
But what is it that sets this new
tasting neighbourhood apart from others in the area? Well, it not only features
small-production, boutique wineries that produce ultra-premium wines sourced
from local | |
Santa Barbara County vineyards, but you’ll also get the chance to learn
more about the terroir of where the grapes are grown and how the wines are
crafted. It’s a real grape to glass experience! |
The Wine Collection of El Paseo
features the six wine tasting rooms of Grassini Family Vineyards, Au Bon Climat
Winery, Jamie Slone Wines, Happy Canyon Vineyard and Margerum Wine Company, who
incidentally have also just opened MWC32, an additional tasting room for their reserve
and limited production wines. All tasting rooms are open daily from 12-6 pm
with the final tastings of the day starting no later than 5:30 pm. It’s a great
to spend the afternoon in Downtown Santa Barbara.
