    Buenos Aires

Stay: Palacio Duhau – Park Hyatt Buenos Aires (3 nights)

Argentina's capital comprises 48 barrios (neighbourhoods), and each has their own distinct flavour. San Telmo – one of the city's oldest – has a vibrant tango and arts scene, antique markets and candlelit streets. Recoleta is the most refined, its tree-lined avenues playing host to fashionable restaurants, cafés, boutiques, malls and galleries; its parks and plazas to street performances, art exhibits and craft fairs. One of our favourite barrios for walking (and home to many of the city's main attractions) is Retiro; whilst Palermo Soho is young, creative, chic, and littered with cool boutiques and cafés.

    Your Stay

Palacio Duhau Park Hyatt Buenos Aires

A neoclassical palace on Recoleta's most iconic street, with a wonderful balance of 1930s elegance and hip design, two wings linked by an art gallery under the lovely gardens; soothing, tech-savvy rooms, and the city's most extensive spa.

    El Calafate

    Stay: Eolo Lodge (2 nights)

The charming, picturesque village of El Calafate (declared national capital of the glaciers) is a haven of peace and greenery on the southern shore of Lake Argentino. And while it may predominantly serve as a gateway to Los Glaciares National Park (home to the breathtakingly gargantuan river of ice that is the Perito Moreno Glacier – often considered the eighth wonder of the world, and one of earth's only active, advancing glaciers), it's also a great base from which to explore the national trekking capital of El Chaltén if time allows.

    Your Stay

    EOLO

Set amidst the arid, desolate Patagonian Steppe, at the edge of Glaciers National Park, this rustic lodge embodies Patagonia’s true spirit, indigenous roots, and the personal experiences of all who’ve explored this legendary land.

    Buenos Aires

    Stay: Legado Mítico (2 nights)

Glamorous and gritty, Buenos Aires is two cities in one. What makes Argentina's capital so fascinating is its dual heritage – part European, part Latin American. Plaza de Mayo resembles a grand square in Madrid, and the ornate Teatro Colón would not be out of place in Vienna. But you’ll know you’re in South America by the leather shoes for sale on cobbled streets and impromptu parades of triumphant soccer fans. Limited-production wines, juicy steaks, and ice cream in countless flavours are among the old-world imports the city has perfected.

    Your Stay

    Legado Mítico

A superb little hotel in a three-storey townhouse with a historical narrative in trendy Palermo Soho, and unique in its offering.
