Not many people can lay claim to having one of the world's most sought-after hotels designed just for them, but that's how the Byblos came to be, when a wealthy Lebanese businessman created this legendary Provençal village-style hotel just to woo Brigitte Bardot.
We're not sure it worked, but it's been tempting jet-setters and A-listers ever since, who come for discreet service and that quintessential St Tropez experience: the fabled Les Caves du Roy nightclub (a modern-day interpretation of Studio 54), super Sisley Spa, the gourmet delights of Rivea by Alain Ducasse and the lively B.
