Rich, romantic interior design; light and creative Michelin-star cuisine; a swimming pool in the shade of 12th-century towers; 300 acres of parkland; seasonal Sunday brunches; and classical music in the chapel – these alone are reason enough to come.
But what we particularly like about Château de Curzay are the awesome outdoor experiences (our favourite being the boat trip down the Vonne at the heart of the estate in search of the secret garden, and rural riverside picnics sheltered by 200 year-old cedar trees).
