In the Napa Valley, there’s no such thing as a Monday – there’s only today. And today, you can do anything.

Wander through beautiful vineyards or a Main Street gallery; enjoy a full body massage or a full-bodied red. Whatever you choose, the day is yours for the making. Journey through the grapevines and beyond – where hidden gems are meant to be stumbled upon, and starry skies put on breathtaking shows; where beautiful places meld with beautiful meals and sparkling wine pairs exquisitely with bubbling springs; and where, just after the sunrise, adventure is waiting.

Just over an hour north of San Francisco, this is the world’s premier wine, food, arts and wellness destination, stretching 35 miles towards the north west. Five miles wide near Napa in the south and one mile wide near its most northern town of Calistoga, it's compact and easy to explore from just one base.

The Napa Valley enjoys year-round average daytime temperatures of 70°F/21°C. Several microclimates vary the temperature substantially from early morning to evening, creating a variance at the same time of day between north and south.

Discover and explore the unique cities and towns in the Napa Valley

American Canyon: American Canyon, at the southern tip of the Napa Valley, offers a great home base for exploring the Carneros wine-growing region, with golf courses, wetlands and open space nature preserves appealing to the more active traveller.

Napa: In the city of Napa, guests will find a lively downtown area with tasting rooms and a nightlife scene all within walking distance. From the historic Napa Mill, to the more urban Oxbow Public Market, there really is something for everyone here.

Yountville: It's easy to walk (or bike) the entire town of Yountville, given it's a little over a mile long. Renowned for its Michelin star restaurants and award-winning chefs, the town has earned the unofficial title of "Culinary Capital of the Napa Valley."

St. Helena: Nestled amid the vine-draped up valley hills, St. Helena is a charming town lined with boutiques, galleries and restaurants. Wine-making began here in the 1800s, its history echoing through the cellars and caves of the region’s first wineries.

Calistoga: Tucked into the base of Mount Saint Helena at the northern top of the Napa Valley, Calistoga is full of rustic charm, its casual and chic spas and resorts dotted around town offering the quintessential Calistoga experience: the mud bath.
