Merging a pair of 19th-century palacete buildings in the heart of València's swish L'Eixample shopping district, this cool, calm and collected boutique hotel creation by interior designers Isabel Lopez and Sandra Tarruella boasts a gorgeous collection of beautifully styled rooms and suites.
Most are set in the principal building, while our personal favourites – five light-filled, 51-square-metre Junior Suites with skylights built into the sloping ceilings – are in the palace building. A host of welcoming spaces are set around the inner garden courtyard, the subterranean spa is particularly soothing, and the restaurant is one of València's best.
