Originally built by triple-Michelin-starred Savoyard chef Marc Veyrat, this early 20th-century waterfront wonder (also known as La Maison Bleue) provides an enchanting setting with top-quality service, water-skiing, wake-boarding and stand-up paddle-boarding, a private pontoon with sunloungers, and gorgeous 500-square-metre lakeside garden.

Eight Alpine chalet-style rooms and suites are super-cosy, and come complete with a balneotherapy bathtub, large picture windows, a balcony and pristine lake views; and the two-Michelin-star haute cuisine dining room (the main reason most come here) is an exquisite gastronomic ode to Mother Nature.
