Favourite Dining Experiences

The Sea Club at Cap Rocat, Mallorca

I love Mediterranean food, so maybe I am a little biased, but this is definitely one of my favourite restaurants in the world, thanks to its gorgeous, relaxed waterfront setting in the spectacular Cala de la Reina. The menu offers something for everyone, with dishes cooked in a traditional Mallorcan firewood oven and grill, and the staff are super-attentive.

Dining on the Rocks at Six Senses, Samui, Thailand

This is probably the most well-known (and the best) restaurant in Koh Samui, and definitely deserves its reputation. The setting is stunning: raised up on a cliffside, looking out over the Gulf of Thailand; and the food, a combination of international and Thai cuisine, is absolutely delicious. Go and have a cocktail at sunset to really appreciate the amazing views before dinner.

Most Heavenly Hotel Rooms

Beach Villas at Amilla Fushi, Maldives

The Maldives is one of my favourite places in the world, and staying in one of Amilla Fushi’s Beach Villas made me love it even more. They’re beautifully decorated, mixing contemporary-design with barefoot luxury, and there’s plenty of space, a very light and airy feel, and a private pool that feels like it’s on your own private stretch of beach. The views out onto the Indian Ocean are uninterrupted and it is truly one of the most relaxing and wonderful places in the world.

Les Grandes Alpes, Courchevel 1850, France

I absolutely love skiing, as well as the ambience of a ski hotel – there’s just something about all that Alpine cosiness that is so indulgent and comfy. And the suites at Les Grandes Alpes in Courchevel 1850 are my favourite suites anywhere. The style is contemporary but cosy, and opulent but relaxing all at the same time, making these the perfect haven to collapse into after a long day skiing.

Most Sublime Spa Experience

The Spa at Goldeneye, Jamaica

My favourite thing about the spa here is its location – a little wooden hut in Goldeneye’s lagoon, so you can either get there by canoe, paddle-board or even swim there (you can go on foot if you want though) – and I think that’s what gives the place such a relaxed, informal atmosphere. The treatments are wonderful and the staff are all so friendly which adds to its extra-special feel.

Sugar Beach, St Lucia

The spa here is hidden away in the jungle which makes you feel instantly relaxed and at ease with your surroundings before your treatment has even begun. And throughout the experience, all you can hear are the sounds of the wildlife around you, and the sea in the distance – so peaceful!
