With so much to do here, you probably won’t spend much time in your room… which, by the way, has arguably some of the most spectacular interior design in Maldives. But, with a fab choice of one- to four-bedroom beach villas, overwater villas and expansive private residences – all filled with artisanal amenities, curated in-room libraries and deluxe objets d’art, plus a private pool and dedicated Jadugar (private butler), you may struggle to tear yourself away. A real gastronomic highlight of JOALI are the two Michelin-starred Chef collaborations, Bellinis – a slice of Italy in the midst of the Maldives, from Nonna-approved pastas to obligatory Bellini aperatives and grappa digestifs; and SOAKE - designed by world-renowned Japanese restaurant architect Noriyoshi Muramatsu – a floating haven of delectable food serving select sakes, sushi, and teppanyaki/kotatsu seating options for the iron-griddle enthusiast.
